I want to tell you a little about myself so you can see why I am doing what I am doing.
When I was younger my parents had me in a lot of extracurricular activities; dance, Ju-Jitsu, soccer, gymnastics. I was really active and I had an extremely muscular physique but I was small. In high school I got a job like everyone else and didn’t have the same time to commit to sports so I stopped. I kept the weight at bay for the most part only gaining a few pounds. Once I got to college, combining the freshman 15 theory and not maintaining the weight at all I gained a ton! I just kept putting on the pounds. I had a really unhealthy relationship with food.
Over the years I have tried different programs, trainers and nutrition programs but nothing seemed to work. I got my thyroid checked and everything and nothing gave.
So about a month ago, I was scrolling Facebook and came across an old colleague post about her fitness success. I had to inquire. She told me about BeachBody. I slept on it and thought about it and said screw it im doing it! Money is tight but I’m going to make it work! So I signed up, got my challenge pack and shakeology and waited for my challenge group to start.
I was so excited when that box showed up! I couldn’t wait to rip it open and explore the possibly of what could come.
Finally my challenge group started. A group of some amazing woman collaborating and sharing their journeys with each other, a safe place. I couldn’t be more happy.
Unfortunately, as happy as I was to start, I was going through a little mental moment and transition and I couldn’t give the program my all. But I’m finishing the group to start another one shortly where I know I can commit!
I’ll post some progress photos of just 21 days on the program. The change is little but it’s a start. I can’t wait to see what round 2 and 3 will do for me!
